I'm in Japan right now and intend on spending a day in Kojima, any suggestions?

I haven't been personally - not sure what's there

But I know that if I were shopping in Japan I'd be most interested in Real McCoy's, Warehouse, and buying as much random Toyo Enterprises (Sugar Cane parent company) pieces as humanly possible (at those much lower Japanese prices)

Thanks for the tip. We are of similar minds. I am definitely headed to McCoys and along with OOE Youfukuten, Sugar Cane was high on my list.

Thanks for this Albert! Been debating between TCB 40s and SC 47s so this was good info for me.

I’m glad you pointed out Joe Keery in the Brain Dead 00s! His fits recently have been really cool to see. Stoked to see the Tilden vid soon man!

47s are wider overall and the TCB 40s have a little bit more of a cowboy feel! Thanks for the support!!

After many years of trial and error and a lot of almost theres, I found my best fit (for now) a while ago: Denime by Warehouse & Co Lot 220A Offset XX Model (phew). I find the rise to be close to perfect and the ass looks good (usually, I get only one out of those two). They fade very nicely too. Highly recommended!

How much shrinkage did you end up seeing in your pair of braindeads? wondering if I should size up

Any thoughts on taper jeans? My calf to thigh discrepancy makes 501’s look goofy so I’ve been doing Levi’s 502 and 501 CT’s but curious about better options. Chinos or utility pants too, tapered chinos can veer strongly into bachelor/lululemon guy territory

my thigh to calf ratio is similar, but you get used to it. I personally don't like how any of my shoes look in tapered jeans, except maybe loafers occasionally. A lot of the LVC models have a slight taper. A fun way to beat the taper is to go way the other way and find something flared. Brut Archives has a jean that has a tidy taper - similar to the APC l'etiquette one
